Dëst Stéck erzielt d’Geschicht vum Duerf Contern als eng musikalesch Rees duerch d’Zäiten, ugefaange bei de Réimer a weider iwwer d’Mëttelalter, d’Renaissance, de Barock, d’Klassik an d’Romantik, bis an eis modern Zäit.
D’Uropféirung ass den 12. Dezember zesumme mat der Harmonie Moutfort Medingen.
🇬🇧 I am pleased to present my new work, “CONTERNUM – From Ancient to Modern Times,” for concert band and choir, commissioned by and dedicated to “Chorale “Les Villageois” Contern” for their 200th anniversary.
This piece tells the story of the town Contern in Luxembourg as a musical journey through history, beginning with the Roman era and continuing through the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, leading up to modern times.
The premiere will take place on 12th December accompanied by “Harmonie Moutfort Medingen”.
